Summer Retreat

Wild Goose Meditation-6

(Zen Buddhist Aroma-Releasing Meditation)

June 25-29, 2016

Join Dr. Hu for a week of nourishing, rejuvenating Wild Goose Meditation and Qigong. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to improve your Wild Goose performance and to learn the advanced Wild Goose Meditation-6 in a lovely and close to nature room, conveniently located in the quiet town of Kensington, just bordering Berkeley, from a highly qualified master, at a very affordable price.

Five Days of Wild Goose!

Summer season is one of the best times to practice Qigong. The hot weather naturally opens up the pores of our skin, making it easier to everyone to experience and come to understand that our human body is a huge "open system". In warm weather, compared to wet and chilly weather, it is easier to stretch yourself, open up your meridians, circulate your qi, and detoxify yourself through your feet.

Six Hours of Wild Goose Each Day!

Enjoy six hours of instruction with Dr. Hu each day, with three hours in the morning, a leisurely break, and then three hours in the afternoon. Sessions will begin at 9:30 am on Wednesday morning, June 25, and finish at 5:30 pm, except on our last day. On Saturday, June 29, we will conclude our retreat at 3 pm.

Learn Wild Goose Meditation-6

Wild Goose meditation uses awareness, posture, mudra, and mantra to consolidate and refine the qi-flow pattern learned in Wild Goose Qigong. That’s why we say meditation is for the nourishing of our qi. This summer, Dr Hu will teach Wild Goose Meditation-6 (Zen Buddhist Aroma-Releasing Meditation).

What is Wild Goose Meditation-6?

There are five sections in this meditation. In each section, a different posture is utilized for making a "whole body Qi field". We also recite or think about a specific mantra in each section to quiet down our mind and allow the mantras to provide us with a minimum stimuli to move the Qi in our subliminal state of mind. In section 3, we should try to smell some fragrance, since the olfactory sensation of fragrance can be used as a catalyst to further relax our body and mind. In section 5, we should be able to do micro-cosmic orbit naturally.

Some benefits of practicing Wild Goose meditation-6

1) For developing and maintaining a good body posture.

2) For opening up our crown and our 12 meridians.

3) For self-detoxification through our Bubbling Spring point (K-1).
